Sunday Dinner w/Hannah and Maddy!

While Maddy was here this past weekend we had dinner and did some Kerksiek style pre-Christmas Sunday singing afterward. It was fun. We also had Pina Colada, a big hit with Maddy and Hannah-- Hannah kept getting brain freezes but it didn't stop her!

Christmas Movie Recommendation and a book too!

We watched The Christmas Miracle of Jonathan Toomey on DVD tonight. All four of us really enjoyed it! It is so well done. My girls absolutely love the book, they choose to read it every night during Christmas. It is a beautiful movie the whole family would enjoy, young and old:)

I also found a new Christmas book that I love as well, the illustrations are profoundly beautiful. It is called, God Bless Your Way, it has such a sweet message and is very touching.

Gingerbread Fun at Abuela's

We decorated little gingerbread/graham cracker houses at Abuela's last night! It was great to have Jodi, Marshall, James, Sammy and Allison there too!The kids had a lot of fun decorating their own little houses! They were all very creative! I wish my memory card wasn't full, I would've taken more pix! A special thanks to Felipe who hot-glued them together for us - 13 total - the night before:) Not to sound like a broken record but we missed you Laura, Claudia and Mateo!

We all had fun sledding in the park near our home! Believe it or not all four of us managed to get on the sled at one time! We had a blast and so did the girls! (Please ignore my SUPER dorky high pitched narrating voice!)
