Monday - May 22nd !
On Karolina's birthday, we brought her breakfast in bed before pre-school ( she requested toast and grapes!) We sang to her and then told her that after pre-school we would pick her up and go to Build-a-Bear! She had fun at pre-school --complete with birthday balloon and crown. Felipe took the day off, we picked her up and headed up to Salt Lake. She had such a fun time. She picked a Husky dog, made her wishes, gave her new dog a bath, dressed her, named her and brought her home! For anyone who knows Karolina well, they know how much she absolutley adores animals! She has been reading about and recently watched a video about Balto, an Alaskan sled dog in the early 1930's who miraclulously saved many people in a small town called Nome by bringing some anti-toxin to the town. She named her dog Cherry! She had the cuteust, biggest grin as we walked out! It was a fun day! PS. Please note the glasses Hannah gave her! She looks like a mini-Hannah and she loves her new sunglasses!

hannah told me that she tried to convince karolina that she should want even bigger glasses. didn't work :) she's way too happy in the morning.

oh don't get me wrong, i still love the ones that she picked out, that was the best part, we were at old navy and she wanted the big sunglasses, i only saw another pair that were bigger, but she was already set on the black ones.
