Puppy Party Time!

Years ago Betsy did a puppy party for Aspen and a couple years ago Karolina saw the pictures and I told her all about it! I was surprised she even remembered it. Anyway she planned out her party all by herself ( she is into lists and being prepared!) She and Felipe made dog houses for each of her guests, we also sewed dog collars and the children chose what they wanted to be named and we wrote the names on their house and collar. She drew her own "pin the tail on the puppy! game and we played puppy memory. We read two of her favorite books, Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy and Good Boy Fergus. Felipe did some magic tricks for them. We played musical chairs to the tune of Who Let the Dogs Out. Then we did some face painting , had some puppy cake and she gave the kids some sugar cookies in the shape of dog bones to take home. We also found some dog coloring books in the good old Walmart $1 section! All of her younger cousins came to the party. Mckay, Kirsten, Cruz, Jordan, James, Sofie and of course Amalia. It was so fun and it was especially fun to see Karolina plan it and see just how much she enjoyed it, children's birthdays are so fun!

That looks like one fun party! What a cool idea to do puppies.

Emma loves those "Twistables" and will sit and color all afternoon on Sunday's.
